Vogelsang at the BIOGAS Convention 2019: Solutions for optimizing biogas plants

Essen/Oldb., 20 November 2019 Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG is exhibiting its product range for optimization and digitalization of biogas plants at the BIOGAS Convention & Trade Fair (10-12 December 2019, Nuremberg). In hall 09 at stand B33 the focus lies on powerful pumps, grinders and solid matter feeders. Vogelsang is also showcasing complete system solutions specially developed for initial fitting in new construction or for retrofitting existing plants. Visitors will also have an opportunity to learn about intelligent control technology.

“Thanks to our many years of experience in the biogas market and close contact with customers, we are familiar with the needs of the industry and can develop appropriate solutions. Biogas 4.0 and the economic efficiency of the plants are key topics. With our intelligent control technology and effective complete solutions, we support customers in optimizing and digitizing their plants”, says Harald Vogelsang, Managing Director of Vogelsang Gmbh & Co. KG.

Quick retrofitting with ready-made system solutions

Vogelsang offers complete preassembled system solutions for retrofitting biogas plants: in addition to the pump, grinder or solid matter feeder, all components such as valves and sensors come installed and connected to the control. Vogelsang tests the entire unit at the factory before delivery; upon delivery to the site, the unit simply needs to be installed and connected to the power grid. It is then immediately ready for operation. A ProfiNet connection means the system can be quickly and easily networked with the existing plant control. Data such as measured values and status messages can be transferred to the master control. The easy-to-understand user interface of the PCU offers quick and easy access to all operating data – from anywhere, including via tablet or smartphone.

Especially for plant constructors, Vogelsang additionally offers an OEM version of the preassembled system solutions. This includes core components and sensors and is also tested at the factory prior to delivery. The plant operator performs installation on site, takes over the setup and connection to the power distribution system as well as setting up the variable frequency drive, operating components and safety technology.

Expanded model range of easy to maintain CC series

Another focus at the Vogelsang trade fair stand is on the expanded model range of the powerful CC progressive cavity pumps. The pump series has been tailored to different plant sizes and their respective requirements. With 22 different models, 3 different geometries and numerous equipment options, as well as capacities up to 290 m3/h, the progressive cavity pump can be configured for virtually any application. The QuickService concept simplifies service and maintenance work. There is no need for disassembly of individual components. This also reduces the time needed for maintenance.
